A stylized rendering of a cock and hen pheasant at morning feeding time. Their attention has been alerted by a sharp noise and the cock pauses midstep to look back over his shoulder. The hen, pulling in her neck, begins to crouch down in a protective posture. These beautiful birds have been painted on a 21” tray.
