The Good Shepherd - JP2005

Taking inspiration from Psalms 23, this design was developed in the Telemark tradition. The good shepherd was originally painted on a deep bowl which are no longer available.  We have adapted the design to a shallow bowl beautifully turned out of Basswood..

The bundle includes the 14" shallow basswood bowl along with the pattern packet with color photos and instructions.

Brushes:

#3-4 round - basic painting technique.
#4 and 8 filbert or flat - may substitute for basic painting technique, if desired.
1” flat - applying Retarder to surface.
3/4” filbert (or #10-12) -  glazing of large areas.
#8 filbert - glazing of small areas.
1” mop - softening out glazes.
