Its annex across the road – also in Beau Arts style – was built in 1923.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eAt the time, it was the largest hotel on the Pacific Coast, with 1,100 rooms and 800 baths between the two structures, according to the Los Angeles Conservancy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eNo doubt a hotel of that size needed a good coffee shop and the Rosslyn certainly catered for every taste.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThe massive menu offered two types of evening dinner for 45c and 55c.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eThere was a Continental Evening Dinner with prices ranging from 64c to $1 per person, depending on the price of the entrée, and a Grill selection.
