The message is that a dove represents enduring love even in the face of separation or death.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you haven’t heard this song, there are many versions on YouTube.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLa Paloma is also a popular Mexican cocktail, the ‘cooler sister’ of the margarita. It is made with tequila, grapefruit juice, sparkling water or soda, agave syrup and freshly squeezed lime.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are hundreds of Mexican restaurants across the US called La Paloma. We know from the interior menu that this restaurant was probably based in Los Angeles or Southern California.
